Great News for Customers and Distributors!
As of November 1, 2016 Moonshine Sweet Tea will be introducing our new 16 oz. packaging that is safer and more environmentally-friendly. Our tea will now come packaged in a 16oz PET (plastic) bottle wrapped in a bright matching color cardboard tray. Over the next few weeks, our glass inventories will be drawn down and new orders will begin to be filled with our 16oz plastic bottle in a tray.
New environmentally-friendly plastic bottles
While carefully considering the transition to plastic bottles, Moonshine Sweet Tea is excited to share the positive aspects of this change with you:
- We’ll continue to brew our tea in the same manner as always and you can be sure that our Moonshine Sweet Tea will continue to deliver the same “lip smackin’ good taste” our customers love and expect.
- As we grow nationally, plastic bottles will allow us to more efficiently meet order demand and better control our overall supply chain.
- Plastic bottles will allow our distributors to be more efficient by allowing more cases per truckload.
- Our new 16oz plastic bottle case weighs less, takes up less space while being transported and while on display.
- Our plastic bottle is easy to recycle.
We hope customers and distributors recognize this move from glass to plastic is part of our on-going commitment to find ways to improve our product without compromising the best in quality and taste our customers have come to expect from Moonshine Sweet Tea!
