Record crowds enjoyed the thrill and excitement of the National Hot Rod Association Finals held October13 -16 at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas. Crowds also enjoyed the cool, refreshing taste of Moonshine Sweet Tea, a sponsor of the two-day finals. Moonshine Sweet Tea quenched the thirsts of race fans on hand to watch points leader Antron Brown as he won the Fall Nationals on Sunday. It’s Brown’s 7th Top Fuel victory of the season – and it was broadcast “live” on Fox Sports!
Drag racing is the quickest and fastest form of motorsport with cars exceeding speeds of 320 mph. Engines roar with 8,000 horsepower and flames blast out of the pipes, propelling drivers as quickly as 0-100 mph in less than half a second. All of that was part of the action at the Texas Motorplex this past weekend
The AAA Texas NHRA Fall Nationals is the fastest race in Texas and is held annual at Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas. The Motorplex is an all-concrete quarter-mile drag racing facility that opened in 1986, becoming the first super-stadium built specifically for drag racing. The Motorplex has hosted national event racing since 1986 and has been the site of record-breaking passes, championship-clinching, performances and jaw-dropping events.
