Eight-year-old Anaiya was born with a rare brain condition that impacts every single aspect of her life. It affects her mental development and requires round-the-clock care. Anaiya and her family recently experienced freedom from the stress of her medical condition thanks to Moonshine Sweet Tea and Make-A-Wish®. Together, they granted Anaiya’s wish to go to Morgan’s Wonderland.
The fully accessible theme park – the first of its kind worldwide – was built in San Antonio especially for kids like Anaiya. Its attractions and rides are able to accommodate Anaiya’s wheelchair, and the staff knew just how to make her feel included in every activity.
Anaiya’s physical limitations didn’t restrict her capacity to enjoy a day at an amusement park. Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she briefly lifted her head to take in the sights of the colorful Ferris wheel and the horses and other animals waiting to take her on a Merry-Go-Round ride.
“Moonshine Sweet Tea is thrilled to make Anaiya’s wish possible,” said Moonshine Sweet Tea CEO Remmy Castillo. “Witnessing the joy of a wish fulfilled is a huge reward not only for employees of our company but for our customers who help make it possible every time they purchase our product.”
Anaiya and her family also took in other tourist attractions in and around San Antonio including the San Antonio Riverwalk and the San Antonio Zoo.

About Make-A-Wish
Make-A-Wish® grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. According to a 2011 U.S. study of wish impact, most health professionals surveyed believe a wish-come-true can have positive impacts on the health of children. Kids say wishes give them renewed strength to fight their illnesses, and their parents say these experiences help strengthen the entire family.
