Moonshine Sweet Tea is excited to announce its offering a $10,000 match to help raise funds for the Over the Edge event organized by Make A Wish of Central and South Texas.
Here’s how it works: the $10,000 matching grant will be used to help anyone reach their goal of raising $1,500 to secure a spot to repel from the top of the W Hotel Austin – to the ground – 478 feet below.
Yep! It’s a big drop and it’s for a great cause.
“This is an exhilarating fundraising opportunity that most of us will never have the opportunity to experience,” said Moonshine CEO, Remmy Castillo. “Moonshine Sweet Tea is excited to offer a dollar-for-dollar incentive for individuals who want to join our company members grant wishes for youngsters facing serious medical challenges.”
This year’s Over the Edge event will take place Saturday and Sunday, June 10 and 11 beginning at 9 am each day. the goal is to raise $550,000 dollars to grant 100 wishes. Approximately 220 participants will repel off the downtown hotel including Moonshine Sweet Tea founder, Joele Porter.
